Grandma's French Dressing

This classic salad dressing can be ready in minutes with a few ingredients you probably already have in your refrigerator or pantry.

1 cup white sugar

1 cup vegetable oil

1/2 cup ketchup

1/2 cup vinegar

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 clove garlic

Combine sugar, oil, ketchup, vinegar, onion, and Worcestershire sauce in a blender; puree until dressing is smooth. Transfer dressing to a resealable container.

Pierce garlic clove with a tooth pick; drop garlic into the dressing. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
